I'm glad that the Lowcountry's geography prevents Savannah and Charleston from being connected by uninterrupted development because otherwise, it would certainly happen eventually. Heck, it would probably extend even further north up through Myrtle Beach on to Wilmington. Coastal Carolina and Georgia are growing like wildfire right now.
