I am looking to move from New England to Savannah can anyone tell me the best area. retired couple in their Early fifties to live. I would like a community pool also fitness center low monthly fees
The most 75 dollars a month. Home purchase Between 200,000 to 275,000 no mortgage. Low yearly taxes
The most 3,000 a year. We love shops restaurants walking. I don't golf do like the beach I need a little space between homes. 1/4 Acre lot would be nice . Also safe development. Not sure if that's possible in this price range
Thanks

Not possible in Richmond Hill, for certain. Pooler might be doable.

Oh, and don't tell anyone you're Pats fans. You'll be strung up quickly. This is Falcons territory!

Pooler have some options although it isn't really walkable. The area to look would be Savannah Quarters. They have multiple neighborhoods. The are developing a bunch of commercial that is to be walkable or rideable in a golf cart. Just got approval for a new area focused on 50+ community. The taxes will be under your number, I believe the main pool and fitness center is $138/mo but there are plans for a separate center in the new development. The Gates have a separate pool not sure about the fitness center.

We would be right at the top of your budget in Coffee Pointe out in the Southside. The community has all of those features and is gated.
