is it extremely hot and humid?

do bugs eat you alive when you're outside?

based on pictures from out there, such as this one:

I can sense the humidity and the mosquitoes from here.

Yes, hot and humid. You get used to it, especially if you go all inand work/stay outside for a summer or two (but drink plenty of water). Occasional afternoon thunderstorms.

Bugs vary widely based on location but seem worse in the evenings.

Savannah's location is about 20 miles or so from the Atlantic Ocean and about 110 miles north of the Florida line.

Take a wild guess how it's gonna feel in the summer.

They sometimes do that when you're inside, too.

The mosquitoes are built like tanks, but you forgot the (1) biting sand-gnats and the (2) stinging fire ants -- although fire ants prefer to hang out in their (2-foot-wide) anthills.

I do miss the heat/humidity of my hometown -- leaving an over-air-conditioned Savannah store and then feeling my skin sizzle. Ahhhhhh! There are 3 seasons in Savannah: January, February, and summer.

Our first year here. Hot, steamy and plan on pop up thunderstorms in the afternoons. But I love this weather. And I don't have to shovel sunshine. Love bugs come around, sand nats. But back home we had black flies which were nasty critters. In other words, the south in the summer is hot. But not unexpected.

Just don't go on a trolley ride when it's almost 100 degrees and starts raining. I heard WAY too many complaints from travelers about being stuck in a trolley in the heat and humidity with the windows up. And why they thought it was a good idea to stand outside in a downpour with a thunderstorm? I just didn't get that. But I found tourists who put themselves in that position though it was ok to be rude and nasty to their drivers for their current situation.

How’s everything going, CM? Has the tension buffed out at work? Is everything good?

It has smoothed out some. I think they understand where the miscommunication was. And realized, they used the software differently from the district I came from. But it's all water under the bridge.
