LOL looking at the dates of this "revelation", One is Nov 2015 and the other June 2015. That puts a whole new spin on "the train has left the station".

I know right? Some people will believe anything!

LET ME REPEAT:

1. Paula Deeh still lives on Wilmington Island in Savannah
2. Paula Deen is not moving to New York (or LA or Paris or Mars)

The article also said she was moving because the house was a painful reminder of the shows she filmed there.
Thing is, she never filmed a show there. That was done in her previous house.
They couldn't even get that right. First-rate journalism.

I hope the weather stays good. It’s been beautiful the past few days.

As far as Lady & Son's, no, I never EVER recommended that place. Tourist trap.

Go to Ms. Wilkes Boarding House instead. Southern food served family style. Though it is cash only and hours are week days only 10a-2p. Worth it though.
Ms Wilkes is good, but Lady & Sons is good as well. Tourist "trap"? Their doors are all operational and never saw anyone in distress.
There's a reason for the long wait line to eat there. Don't order too much----the portions are ridiculous and many of the patron's weight show it!
Love Savanah-----except in August!

Accuweather is predicting or forecasting high 70's and sunshine. Yippee.

Ok some things I plan to do or see.

1) walking tour of historic Savannah.
2) eat
3) First African Baptist church
4) eat some more
5) Bonaventure Cemetery. I'm a very amateur photographer so I like cemetery. go figure

Any nice jazz clubs or bars for a late night, nightcap.
6) SCAD museum of art.
7) seriously, I like to eat...

Any thing else? I'm flying solo most of the trip. Saturday I'm meeting up with an old friend.

Also, Colonial Cemetery, on Abercorn, a few blocks up from Bay St. is a great old one.
Good Times Jazz Bar & Restaurant, on Broughton, is getting good buzz, although I haven’t been there.
