Hey everyone!

Long time for me checking in here! SO busy with everything. So Hello!

Now, we have a water oak that's rotted about 40 ft up. It needs to go-hanging over our bedroom. Gotten estimates from $1000 to $3500. Lowest says-not responsible for damage-aka NO insurance. So.... give me names of folks to get a estimate from!

I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you!!!

Hi camping mom. I won’t recommend the guy we had, because they really ripped up our yard, but just for comparison, they took out 2 mature trees for $1050. and this was for 6 guys, lots of chain saws, skid steer, wood chipper, and stump grinder.

I’ve used HomeAdvisor.com for estimates and the contractors are screened, so you might check it out.

$1050 for two mature trees is dirt-cheap. Expect to pay that much per tree, for starters.

Bartlett is reputable and nationwide. But, you don't have to worry about lack of insurance coverage with them.

Just curious: Was the low guy a man that had four fingers missing on his left hand?
