I'm pretty sure if everyone on the forum pooled their money together we could buy the house lol

Quote:
The main house contains five bedrooms and five bathrooms in 6,098 square feet on four floors; no wonder it needs an elevator. There’s even private elevator access to the master suite on the second floor.

Architectural details include the “magnificent” double porches, original fireplaces, heart of pine floors, and hand-carved plaster moldings.

The garden level includes a media room, full bathroom, and its own kitchen, which could easily double as guest suite or apartment.

And there’s two–yes, two–laundry rooms, one each on the first and third floors.

That's what you call ****-elegant!

Made me wonder that if this is Savannah's second most expensive listing, what is the first?

Turns out to be the venerable Mills B. Lane house.

That house looks like a botched facelift. By that I mean: "let's see now... should we do modern ? No, lets do some art deco. No, let's do some Charleston porches.... oh, lets do...." lol

Yeah, I like it better when they stick with the program, too.
