Can anyone tell me if there are any nice mobile home parks anywhere close to Savannah. The only one I can find on the web is one in Garden City. The pics of it look ok but I would like the input of someone in the know.

I know of one that is probably better than average out in Port Wentworth on Hwy. 21, just beyond Garden City. Give me a day or two and find out what it's called.

Thank you. I am going to be moving to the Savannah area within the next 6-8 months and am looking at mobile homes as maybe more economical than paying huge rent. But I want to be safe. Any info I can get will be appreciated.

I can't recommend a specific area for you, but please do keep in mind that Georgia does get tornadoes, and the Savannah area if prone to hurricanes (two enemies of a mobile home). Not an everyday occurance mind you, but something to consider if you do have options such as apartment buildings, small homes to rent, etc.

Definitely take into consideration what Greg said. I don't know of any specific mobile home parks in Port Wentworth. I know there are a few mobile homes that are here and there.

I would just check online for rental homes. You can find some rental homes for cheap. Your best bet would be to come here, talk to a realtor and see if they can help you, and go check out the area. I found a house online, went to go look at it, and saw where it was located, and was instantly turned off. You really need to check places out. If you need any help, let me know and I can maybe go check out some places for you. Good luck

Talk about recycling old threads.
Check the lead.
I'm hoping she found something by now.
