Pretty arrogant comments from someone not from here....or who even lives here. Now you know why some may be flippant towards people like you.

Ok, so who cares if a Costco comes here or not? If it does, I’ll go, if it doesn’t, I’ll keep going to Sam’s Club. If one is better than the other, I’ll drop one. It’s not as though
Pooler is needy for places to shop.

Costco Food Court alone is worth it.

But....horror of horrors....news dropped today that the company has suspended all food-sampling stations (active and passive sampling) throughout their stores in light of the Corona virus situation. So it looks like the folks who regularly have a "grazing" lunch of samples at Costco will just have to dole out a buck or two at the food court after all.

Hardly. Sam's hot dogs and pizza are miles ahead of Costco's offerings.

I was going to say Greenville, it has everything mentioned here. But Charlotte is 3 minutes closer.

Sam's (actually, Walmart in general) is on average below CC's level of quality. Costco often uses fewer artificial ingredients and additives -- or let's just say there's a wider selection of those better-made products. There's a higher quality of baked goods too (tastier, not as sweet, less pumped with chemicals). So Costco's arrival would be good news. A true alternative.

If fast food is your everyday food, sure. Some of us like that sometimes but prefer FOOD. Costco does real food better.

The more established retail/restaurant/grocery chains with broader appeal typically act as anchors to draw the newer/more niched places such as the ones you mentioned. A city usually needs the vote of confidence from the Whole Foods/Costco/CF/etc collection first before the more 'contemporary' places take a chance on it.

Just to show how quickly things change, I bring up this thread. Costco opens November 18th at Mosaic. 20 months we go from no Costco to finished and open.

Warp speed, once they got going. I believe they are opening 10 days earlier than the original date.
