I second Crystal Beer Parlor, I go there (at least once) every time we visit.

Also Clary's is a great little no-frills dinner -- and It's in the same place as it was for MITGOGAE.

Also, though touristy, I've had nothing but good meals at The Lady & Sons.

Also check out Back in the Day Bakery south of Forsyth on Bull. Great bread and other baked goods.

Crystal Beer Parlor is going through a financial crisis, due to the pandemic. It would be a shame if it succumbed. We should all try to get there soon.

There is a gofundme going on right now for Crystal Beer Parlor. They definitely can use our help.

My wife and I will be in Savannah next week for our anniversary and Christmas. We'll definitely try and stop by Crystal Beer Parlor to help out. We won't be going to any of the breakfast restaurants as we're staying at Kehoe House and will be having breakfast there.

We've never been to Savannah, but I made reservations in advance for Xmas Eve at Xmas at Alligator Soul and 17Hundred90, respectively. Anyone have thoughts on these two restaurants given that they weren't included in the recommendations earlier in the thread? Also any recommendations for an anniversary dinner earlier in the week? I tried The Olde Pink House, but there was nothing available.

Yes, I’ve been to both and I love them both. Great choices. Go a bit early and have a drink in the basement tavern at 17hundred90, if it’s open.
