Can we buy you a cup of coffee for Savannah area info? (low crime)

Hi, My husband and I are seriously considering Savannah as a potential place to live. We're both 63, both retired and I love to cook and we both travel regularly for weeks at a time.
We visited your beautiful city about 4-5 years ago as tourists and not with an eye to live there.
Our plans are to be in Savannah April 25-28 but we'd like to meet someone for about an hour at a local coffee shop the morning of April 26 so we have good info before we connect with our realtor.
We'd hope to meet with someone who is either a native of the area or strong knowledge of the different areas or neighborhoods. Also would help if you have a knowledge of Ga tax laws but not necessary. We really want a local's perspective instead of our realtor, who could be biased.
In case someone is interested, we're hoping to learn where any walking and hiking trails might be, parks, neighborhoods with good walkability, low crime areas, flood zones, etc. We don't expect someone to know everything but those are some things we want to ask about.
