My friends and I going on a road trip for our college spring break next week and one of our stops is Savannah. What are some cheap yet fun things to do in Savannah?

Could you give the board what your preferences of fun are? Bars? Museums? History? shopping?

sorry. We love going to parks(rollerblading in the park), we don't drink alcohol so bars and the clubs are out, we love museums, shopping, food, roller skating, swimming, etc.

So why not do those things, then?

OK, You will defintately want to go rollerblading in Forsyth Park. The park is downtown so I would advise trying to find a place to stay there. A trolley tour is always fun for tourist.

Here is a great website to checkout for things to do:

Savannah GA Tours Hotels Restaurants Shopping - Vacation Tourism Travel Guide - Key To Savannah.com

Let us know what kind of food you like and we can make reccomendations.

I highly recommend doing some basic research on the city and what it has to offer before you start complaining about smart a** replies. There are a lot of museums here, some are expensive and other are not. No telling what you'd be interested in... You can walk and walk and walk for free.

You could just rollerblade throughout the district, iffen you wanted. The sidewalks around Forsyth Park are kind of bumpy but it's do-able. You can also drink coffee and play frisbee. We have the Atlantic Ocean nearby, (yes I'm making fun of you again) though it's pretty cold this time of year. Still, it's fun to walk on the beach.

So Google up some Savannah info, decide what you really want to do and then ask more specific questions.

No need for the sarcasm as I was not trying to come off as a smart a$$. You asked my a question and I just gave you a straight answer. But thanks for your suggestions. God Bless You!
