Hi!
We have just moved to Richmond Hill and are having a rough time finding a good hair stylist/colorist for highlights. I've asked around and get a different answer each time I ask someone where they get their hair cut/colored. Please help! Scary to try someone new without a recommendation.
Thanks

You might want to come to town for your hair, at least the first few times till you find someone decent in RH. Not that there aren't good ones out there, there are just more downtown.

I did a quick search to refresh my memory. These are all good: B Street, Josephs', Salon Della Vita, and Robs on Forsyth. I'm pretty sure all of those will give you a quality do.

I've been wanting to go to Rob's for awhile but haven't yet. That's my next big splurge.

Try Lavender Hill. I have found them to do a great job with highlights.

Try Jenny at Lavender Hill salon and day spa. I have been seeing her since last August and I love her and the salon!

Default Best Salons

Very Good Call! I am not in the know of Joseph's but I've actually been a stylist at all three and Recommend them all. But right now I'm here to promote myself! hehe I am currently working at Rob's 2nd new location at Drayton Tower on Liberty St. I would love to do your hair for "your next big splurge!," I use Goldwell color, not sure it you're familiar with it but just thought I'd throw it out there. Come see the new Rob's and if its after the first of the year I may be at the Forsyth Salon because I'm in the process of buying it. woohoo. So either way just ask for me and someone will let you know. Kim Cabrera @ Robs at Drayton Tower 102 E. Liberty St. 944.2887 Hope to meet you!

You're right, good stylists can make or break a salon. I hope all goes well for you in the new location. You've done my hair for me before, I think. LOL

Try Shabby Chic at Keller-Belfast and Hwy. 144. It's small, but Cat Collins is the owner and the best colorist that I have found in the area. I went to a few Savannah salons and a few in Richmond Hill before I stumbled upon Cat. (Her color holds longer than others, at least in my hair.)
