Do let us know when you are visiting - I'll be sure to stay away. I abhor this practice of walking around with guns strapped to one's side and can't wait until reason prevails and such behavior is outlawed. You aren't the colonial era militia and you don't have a God-given right to carry. God didn't write the Constitution.

Default Pish posh

First of all, I would like to start off by saying the people that are giving EmmyGrace grief for wanting only to protect her family should be ashamed of themselves! Would you not take every precaution to protect your loved ones?
Secondly, She is breaking no laws and has every right in keeping her and her family safe from potential hazards. I see a few of the members here have brought up the constitution. To those I would suggest actually reading the constitution and having a firm grasp on why it was written before I would open my mouth about something I apparently have zero understanding of.
Last but certainly least, Your state is a reciprocity state, as is mine. Which means as a citizen of Kentucky I am well within my rights to carry a gun in your state, as is any law abiding South Carolinian welcome and free to carry in my state.

SIDE NOTE : I will be visiting your lovely city in little under a week. I WILL be carrying a firearm. If that offends or upsets you then that's just something you're going to have to deal with and get over. If that's not good enough then I would suggest getting involved with other like minded individuals, contacting your local municipality or congressman and appeal for a change of statutory law. Have a great day

Yours truly,
Savannah bound.

Default correction

As someone pointed out I am aware that Savannah is in GA and not SC. I had fresh in mind a similar topic on hilton head. There must be a regional complaint about certain freedoms in that area I apologize..

I will be visiting Savannah this week with my two preteen kids. We'd like to visit a beach - any suggestions? We are not looking for the Myrtle Beach type - more the Wrightsville Beach type (NC). No need for amusement parks or entertainment - we go for surf and sand (you can't get my son out of the water once he gets in!)

I am actually going for a job interview so if anyone wants to ring in on good places to live, that would be helpful too.

Glad you speak for God.

I hope you don't vote. Or breed.

Well partner, if you're as slow to draw yer 6 shooter as you are to respond to this tread (which is 2 years old lol) I don't think you'll be a danger to society other than those in the nursing home where my Mom hangs out. DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!

5'3', 200+ lbs, tight fitting clothes, balding, and a Napolean complex? Easy to figure out if you watch a lot of crime TV.
