My husband and I are moving to Savannah from out of state in June and need to find a good realtor/broker with experience, extensive knowledge of the local housing market and mortgage contacts/recommendations.

The realtor has to understand that our entire move is fast-track and that we'll need a lot of information quickly. (I've spent more than a week trying to get information from the listing realtor for one house. He says the sellers are motivated. I say they need a new realtor. Or tell me, is this just the way things work in the South? I've run into the same problem trying to get ballpark estimates for what it cost to build a pool in the Savannah area--no response.)

I would greatly appreciate recommendations!

Have you seen this list? All that I see there at the first have good reputations. Some deal in the more expensive housing, others, in the middle or lower range.

realtors in savannah ga - Google Search

If I remember correctly, some of your other posts indicate that you want a pool. Please be aware that in some sections, the water table is so high, that you would have to have an above ground pool.

Default Recommendations Appreciated

Thank you for the feedback. Trying to get information on a house from one realtor was extremely frustrating. And he never bothered to ask if we have a realtor in Savannah!

Thank you for the help, Padgett. The water table reminder is especially useful. Now we have to find out where you get that information!

I know an on-the-ball realtor that ALWAYS has numerous listings and closings every.single.week!!. AND she is NOT the realtor we used to sell our house, and we should've, but you can't mix friends and business. PM me and I can give you her name. She IS AWESOME and an extremely hard worker! I really, really wish we could've used her to sell our house, it probably would've taken a LOT less time. I can give you all of the details on a PM if you wish

I just just purchased (2) houses in Sav. The realtor I used could not have been more professional if she tried.

DM me for reference.
