Will the fear mongering crap ever stop??? Of course not.

The entire article was based upon the paranoid ramblings of one poster on TOD. In the original thread at TOD, it was pointed out why his assumptions were wrong. I guess that Mother Jones thought that quoting a respectable science blog would give credibility to the piece... never mind that the SB author is an astrophysicist that knows jack squat about the oil business.

Wonder how many people are thinking this oil well will never be stopped and eventually will flood the earth and kill every one.
I've already heard that they may have to evacuate Florida,
and it will start raining oil and turn the whole southeast US into an oil soaked desert.
