We are in Kansas and we have noticed that that sunrise is delayed and sunset is much earlier. Is it our imagination? I did some looking around the web but didn't find any discussions on it. For both June and July, we have experienced 10 to 15 degrees above normal and I am guessing that is due to that damage done to the upper atmosphere that I had read about - which is supposed to repair itself (per NASA - yeah, I believe that will happen). So is something up with that? It does seem almost like some sort of adjustment for the super hot days which does give the garden plants a little more respite from the blaring sun but the garden that used to flourish until frost is now wilting in nothing already - this cannot be good.
The amount of daylight has been getting a little bit shorter every day since June 21, the summer solstice. Happens every year, and will continue until December 21, the winter solstice.
The sun is working just fine here, as regular as clockwork.
Deja vu. There was a thread like this a year or two ago. The OP couldn't understand the idea of the tilt of the earth, the effects of the change of angles over a globe, and so on. Instead they thought there was a disruption of the orbit of the earth or some such nonsense.

Try looking at your watch for the times the sun is setting and rising - then research as to when the sun rises and sets this time every year - I suspect you will have your answer - also research solstice patterns and you will learn a lot about the seasons and the earths place, and tilt as it travels around the sun. I am a bit surprised while looking for something you didn't come across any good doomsday theories to support your observation though.

A product of our edukashun system I suppose
Look out world, our next generation is going to take over the world with their superior intellectual abilities.
I've noticed this too. Earlier this year, magdu was pulling his sun chariot quite low in the sky and I was able to come quite close to him when I cast a boar's jaw bone at him. He bagan to drive his chariot higher and higher each day until he was out of range. Lately magdu has gotten lazy and I believe if I wait in a tree, I will soon be able to knock magdu out of his chariot with a well-aimed spear.
That this lady might actually drive a car, use sharp knives in her kitchen, etc.
LMBO!!! I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if this woman is just joking, or if she's seriously that...um...uneducated? God have mercy on me, because I don't like calling anyone stupid. But for crying out loud, I was creating rainbows with water hose nozzles YEARS ago as a kid! I thought it was common knowledge how they are produced.
BUT.....there are people who still think the sun goes around Earth, etc.
