For fun, I stuck that into Google Translate and this came out in Spanish.

I then stuck that into google tranlate and translated it into English and this came out:

Cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy Taem, it deosn't mttaer in what oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is that frist and ltteer happened to be in the rghit PCLA. The rset can be a taotl MSEs and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm one. This is bcuseae huamn mnid deos not raed Ervey lteter by istlef!, but the wrod as a wlohe.

A friend sent me an email and being the curious website developer that I am, I couldn't help but follow his content back to the origin. I inadvertantly found the Cambridge research at the bottom of this page.

Amazing Facts and other Funny Ideas

Here is another nifty link I discovered that'll throw your brain into a left right tizzy:

http://www.humorsphere.com/fun/8787/colortest.swf

I was able to do 100% in two tries (three if you count my initial lack of caring)

Check it out and post how well you did on it.

That's too funny! I wouldn't think this is language dependent, so I'd say Sdwesih wulod wrok as wlel as any otehr lngauge-- you know this could become some kind of viral Typoglycemia topic here on CD! That would be hillarious... oops, hlliairous!

So sometimes, when it looks like a poster is hijacking a thread, we're just reading it wrong?

Note that there was no such study at Cambridge at all. See the website for information on the unpublished studies.

Since the link to Matt Davis's site on the above site does not work, I found it independently for your reading pleasure
