Normalized? You mean that people will have become so accustomed to these things that they no longer question them??? "Smart."

The Earth's magnetic field is far stronger than any EM field you will ever be in and you are in it all your life.

These meters are nothing compared to the power supply on your laptop, fridge, etc.

Lead is non-ferrous so it will not block EM fields. Copper will. But you have to build a cage and sit in it.

Naturally occurring Radon gas is the major source of radioactive exposure for people. Little you can do about it other than live where its not common.

Radon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cosmic Rays zap you hundreds of times a day and are responsible for most of the deep radiation damage in your body. I'd be more worried about them than anything.

Interesting chart, plwhit...

I wonder whereabouts this Giant-Cellphone-on-Steroids exposure level might fall:

"Diathermy uses RF energy [just like cellphones and smart meters] but
to purposely produce heat inside deep, targeted human body tissue."

In this 1933 photo, the patient is connected to a heartburn therapy machine?

Why he wants to get heartburn is beyond me. *Tisshh*

These contraptions were first made with Tesla coils around 100 years ago.

Diathermy is used today in surgery- bladder, brain, bowels, eyes, tonsils, physical therapy too.

So, to [almost] everyone...wouldn't there be some real, concrete evidence of alarming long-term health issues...

...from this monster-smart-meter-on-steroids over the past 100 years?

Interesting to see this return.

Harry chickpea, I had forgotten about your use of radon as a comparison. We just sold our house in IA and it is a requirement to test for it. Cost us $1500.00 to remediate since our levels were too high.

The punch line? I lived with it for 66 years (just moved to Las Vegas). Didn't kill me. Didn't kill my 85 year old grandfather or my 95 year old grandmother.

Methinks someone is full of Sh1t.

Fear based industry is a money-maker. I'm beginning to think that there could be a law that prohibits any "safety" law where there is no tangible and peer reviewed proof that more than 1 person in 1,000,000 nationwide would be affected. As it is, there is no limiting factor on what fear can be exploited.

As a side note, the Brits have taking to almost universally rolling their eyes over their "health and safety" regulations, and may be getting near the point of active revolt. That could be fun to watch.

You know, you're right about that

There is so much misunderstanding of the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation that it's not a bad thing to revisit the subject now and then.

How about you get the power company to mount two smart meters 1/2 wave length apart (180 degree phase shift). That way the two signals cancel each other out and you are spared the trouble of installing all that heavy lead shielding....maybe Robbie (Forbidden Planet) could help.
