The Minneapolis Star-tribune occasionally reprints a story from past editions. This one is from 1921, and tells of a St. Thomas College professor who called Einstein's Theory of Relativity "bunk". He then challenged Einstein to a written debate. Arvid Reuterdahl was apparently a fairly well-respected engineer and educator who, among other things, sought to "prove the existence of God by scientific means"
Just thought this was interesting reading--I think Einstein eventually won the debate.
