Hitchhiking on Catman:

If it were possible to be outside the universe, would I be able to see the universe?

I vote no. I would not be able to see or detect any energy (such as light), because if I could, then I am inside the universe and not outside the universe.

Then, the other argument I guess I could make is that if it were possible to exist outside our universe, I would have to be inside another univese.

I would never be outside the universe, because I am forever (thoughts included) a part of my own universe. Any thought as to believing I was outside my own universe would be fanciful and deluding.
