It doesn't matter if it defies all logic and reality it happened. Deal with it.

Noah's Ark? Really?

Did we used to ride dinosaurs to church too?

Also...why did the Flintstones celebrate Christmas?

And here lays the difference between science and religion:

When I was young the overwhelming consensus was that dinosaurs were cold blooded. This was based on the fact that they shared certain bone structures with current cold blooded animals (a reasonable hypothesis). Further research by skeptics has slowly overturned that original theory. Both sides have argued their point for several years. Now it is generally accepted that most if not all dinosaurs were in fact warm blooded. People have changed their opinion based on the evidence. No one is calling the other side heretical. There are still adherents to the cold blooded theory, but they base their arguments on evidence, or at least their interpretation of the evidence. No one says the dinos were cold blooded simply because some ultimate unquestionable authority said so.

It’s ok to be wrong if you are a scientist. The scientific method only promises to become more correct as evidence and understanding increases.

Nope, wrong again.

Noah's ark is a cute story. Maybe there was a big flood (not worldwide) in the middle east back in the day. Maybe a guy named Noah did build a big boat and bring his livestock on it... but that's about it.
Most likely case was the formation of the Black Sea, and yes probably his own local animals, and no wild creatures.

It has been explained to him many times, but the explanation is unable to penetrate his fundy earplugs.

Why would anybody believe that a life form so huge could be cold blooded anyhow?

If you want to go by the Bible, does it make sense that 2000 years ago dinosaurs walked the earth?

The bible is a nice story, but I hope you realize that all religions on the planet are man made, that includes what's inside the bible.

Dinosaurs were not around when humans came on the scene, we didn't live like "The Land of the Lost" or "Jurassic Park" back then.

I think the reason why they thought dinosaurs were cold blooded is because they grouped them with birds and reptiles.

Thinking about "Jurassic Park", no doubt science would like to use dino DNA and resurrect one to study it.

When I went to church as a kid, this was the accepted interpretation. To the people of that time the 'world' was a very very small place and there were likely many floods. Of course it was Episcopal and the stories in the bible were interpreted with due relevance to the meanings of the time they origionated.

I'd even go so far as to say if you lived in a flood plain between rivers, you might keep a boat around anyway. If you had breeding animals you'd try to keep enought to start over. But the whole world??? Not since prehumans appeared.

They weren't even mentioned in the bible.

See now this is where "static" gets thrown out the window: different Christian sects. Salvation is all over the map and is actually the thing that's "Convenient" when certain groups don't hold to or believe what others do. You can make the No True Scotsman argument until you are blue in the face but the fact is the only thing that makes you Christians is self identification and people who believe different things believe just as true and hard as each other, and that's convenient I'd say.
