"All of a sudden I could see a little flash. It was amazing."

She also saw shapes. "Every time there was stimulation, there was a different shape that appeared in front of my eye," Ashworth said.

When I first read the title I thought this was going to be something that should be in the religious forum lol. This is great news and just one more example of why by 2025 80% of all humans will have some kind of computer implanted in them.

Yeah, I keep wondering what's gonna happen, next. I personally have a touch of macular degeneration, but so far it is stable. Doc gave me some expensive drops that would have caused me to have long black eye lashes (which I would have had to trim), but in the end, it didn't do anything for me.

I think a lot of little steps can, in the end, make long strides.

I'm glad to see that you are doing good. The reason people don't see where this is going because it's a lot of little steps that get bigger over time. So unless you sit down and study it knowing what all this means in 10 or 20 years is hard to imagine.

Yep, part of that had to do with a Lasik procedure I had done just before the next best thing came around (bad luck on that...). Well, I'm only sixty, so I have a few decades to see what happens.

I know I am a broken record on this but I am 100% convinced you will only need 10 to 20 years to see it. Come 2030 life will be completely different then it is now and in someways that makes it hard for me to get excited about a lot of things anymore like politics because I just think that in 20 years none of this will matter.

Yeah, and what we see may be completely different than what we've envisioned.

I remember that tv show and yes we will. However it won't cost 6 million dollars but 6 thousand dollars.
