We are past MP3 players. Ipod time. Plus many cell phones have great music media better than most players.

I started buying CDs in 1996 when I got a new car that only had a CD player in it. Then I had to get a new stereo and I got one that plays MP3's from a CD. My current car has a stereo with a usb drive so I have an 8 gb flash drive in it, which is far superior to any other storage.

I haven't purchased at CD in two years. Honestly, I haven't purchased music in two years. All my music is on my phone. I connect to stereo via AUX cable in the car.
