A few questions if you don't mind answering, please.
Where did you get that map?
What exactly will end? and how?
Why only the green area on that map?
What makes you think it's that part only?
I found the map etched onto some gold plates buried in a chest int he woods behind my house. I cannot show you the gold plates beacuse an angel came and took them last week, but I drew the map from memory.
The world will end. the entire universe as we know it will cease to exist, but only in that specified location. It will end with a bright flash of light, however there will be some drinking and dancng involved as well. The Mayans may re-enact the sacrifice of a virgin (no animals will be harmed in this re-enactment).
The green area is where the end of the world will take place. the angel shaded it to show where the end of the world will take place. Either that or it is where the angel spilled her slurpee. In any event the end of the world will be concentrated n and limted to only the green area. If you want ot participate in the end of the world, you need to go there on Friday. Flights are still available from most major cities. There is a $5,000 cover charge to get admission to the end of the world, but you will nto need the money anyway, so who care if it is pricy?
I told you, the angel colored that part of the map as the location for the end of the world.
You should note the map is not to scale and the green area is actually one square millmeter. Thus, you need to be really skinny and bring a magnification device if you want to see the end of the world.

So far the world seems intact, people milling around with daily lives as usual, not much happening in terms of enlightened or spiritual changes, no large catastrophic celestial bodies are headed for the Earth, and the compass is still pointing north.
However, I predict that the year will come to an end at the conclusion of Dec 31 and will usher in a new year, 2013, on Jan 1.

Anybody Believe The World Is Going To End Dec.21 ? I mean like really ?
I've considered that it could happen but usually get lost in wondering at what time or in which time zone. Would it happen as soon as time hits 12:01 a.m. in Greenwich or later on in L.A., or the end of the 24 hour day on the 21st? It's all just so confusing.
And how did the Mayans even know when Dec. 21 is?
On the other hand, I guess the 21st is about half over now...
Assuming the solstice has anything to do with it, it didn't. The solstice was at 11:121 am UTC, come and gone.
However, it remains to be seen whether John Boehner's massive implosion in the House last night will trigger the depression to end all depressions, and end the world as we know it.
