I see a couple of pages of from people I know on facebook. Is there an bottom that lets me invite those people to like my Facebook page? or do I have to manually ask them to like my Facebook page?

If you have to ask someone to like your FB page you have my sympathy...
You can always offer to pay them $$$$ to like your page....

I get requests from people to like their pages all the time.
It is a quid pro quo, as far as I am concerned. I would not ask anyone to lay a like on me if I had not done the same already for them.
Like them and their page before you ask for a like, as it is a favor you seek.

Give out T shirts. We had a promotion for my parent's business where we gave out t-shirts to the first 1000 people to like our fb page when we launched the page. We got over 2,000 likes in just a few days. Business has been good since. We didn't get 2000 new customers, but it's been growing year after year.

Like plenty of peoples pages (like a lot), post intelligent comments on those same pages and spread the word out through associates and eventually those that genuinely like your page will like it. Also use social networking apps such as pin it or instagram if your business is compatible with their models.
