NeverWet is a 2 part superhydrophobic spray-on coating. Clark Griswold would have died for this stuff. If you don't want to watch the whole video just watch the first 30 seconds. It's pretty cool.

This seems like Rustoleum-branded version of Ultra Ever Dry: Ultra Ever Dry - Waterproofing Coating - Industrial - Tools - Clothing

Is it really something new or just a rehash of the same stuff? The video doesn't seem to compare the two... which makes me think that it's the same old stuff.

Honestly I have no idea, but they did mention that they are partnering with Rustoleum in the video.

Ugh. And here's a debunking video that says NeverWet works, but only for a few minutes. A lot of the commenters say the debunking video actually proves that it works though.

Ultra Ever Dry says that it doesn't last in an abrasive environment (the coating rubs off easily).

I see a market for this with protestors up against pepper spray.

Mix a little SPF with it and go swimming. Nice. Last all day if it will stay put. Or put on the SPF lotion and spray this over it. The "come off easily" comment above makes think it's not that great of a product in most environments.

Yeah that's what it looks like. I haven't had a chance to watch the whole debunking video though so I am reserving judgement.
