Hi,
Didn't know exactly where to post this, but i have lived in my subdivision for like 8 yrs now. When i first moved in, residents were issued a toll tag card that we would display/hold up to open the gate when it scans across a erected scanner beside the gate upon entering the subdivision. Since i have moved in 8 yrs ago, our subdivision also uses sticker tags like EZ tag tolls w/o need of a plastic card. Anyways, It doesn't work anymore and i believe it needs a new battery. I still wanna use this card instead of a sticker. I noticed the card says "Amtech...Dallas, Texas", but their website does nothing to explain this...just a commercial business. Does anyone know how to replace the battery on this? It is a flat hard plastic card similar to what people use on the toll roads. Thanks.

Are you sure it has a battery?

Why don't you ask your neighbors?

the lady who works in the subdivision office said that one person mentioned about the battery being replaced, but she wouldnt provide me his name due to confidentiality....my neighbors are using the stickers(linked to EZ tag)...but i guess i have to drive around the neighborhood and ask the residents who have been around longer. I'm guess these toll cards are using RFID?
