Do you mean download to our brain like in the Matrix?

Currently, we don't have the technology to replace schools. However, anything is possible in the future.

We have more population than ever right now... and less war than ever right now. So your theory does not make sense.

The Matrix is a movie so not exactly, right idea though as by the mid 2020's we will have computers the size of cells and we will merge with it and can download anything we want to learn. At that point why attend school when you can learn anything in a few minutes. The big difference is it will not be some alien race keeping us hostage it will be humans doing it to make our lives better.

That's the point. We will get to a place where Earth simply cannot sustain the population any longer. That will bring on the wars, the pandemics, and cause a major shortage of resources.

People would still have to be educated in schools to use the technology to download the information.

I don't think schools will look much different in 30 years then they do today. Just more technology. I would expect that books, paper and pencils will be non-existant. Except maybe for show and tell.

Look at your computer. Do you need to bring it so a school to have it learn a new program? No you just download it. That is how humans will be in 15 to 30 years. Want to learn a new language no problem download it. Want to learn how to cook download the app. Etc.

With the overwhelming advancement of the internet and general technology, and the fact that you can learn anything online, most schools will go to online teaching and eventually an independent study type of learning will occur where students simply look up online what they want to learn about and they will be able to quickly understand it, if not download it directly to our brains. Our brains are being developed to quickly getting data in short bursts and being able to multitask much more easier than it is to pay attention to one thing at a time, in the future whatever method we use to gather data will be highly proficient and effective.

The human brain is not capable of multitasking. It's a myth. What we do now is more like multi-switching which pretty much causes decreases in productivity. There are many studies about this and many papers written about it.

How are you calculating that we'll be at that point in 2055?

Nonsense. The human brain is completely capable of multi-tasking. There are even more papers written on the fact that the brain is capable of multiple activities at once.
