Yes. Sure at first it will be expensive but should be available for the top 1% of the worlds population meaning if you are in a first world nation you should be ok. However with any tech in a short amount of time it will get better and cheaper for everyone just like smart phones today.

The Elite.
I was just watching 20 or so minutes on who runs the world and what The Elite is doing yesterday night. They brought up the idea that is pursued by The Elite - of the chosen ones to become "posthumans" as in - become more of cyborgs initially then have their minds transferred into virtual world where they can exist forever. According to the show speakers, first program of this nature was initiated in the USA in 1980.
Now there is proliferation of them, all well funded by those who want just that.

Way back when I was in the Air Force, we would drop grasshoppers into liquid O2. They sure had a headache when they thawed on the hot summertime flightline but they were moving.

Unless you can manufacture blood that feeds the body, and have the ability to replace every organ and bone over time, and replace skin as it decays - no.
