If it were possible it wouldn't be practical ,bumping to warp drive, the kinetic energy would equivalent to slamming against a brick wall. A very long sow assent to speed would take even more energy.
No one would survive, and maneuvering far more sensitive, that even a pebble would have a radical influence on the vessel .
It would take two vessels one to plough the way and the other to fallow behind.
The human body is not made for space.

I do not think that going faster then Light speed is impossible. It's only impossible given current technologies.

Some day we will invade space, some day human population will be so huge that earth will not be able to support us.
