Google failed me, and although I have some physics background i'ma bit out of my depth on this.
How many partial compressions could a simple spring withstand before fatigue failure?

The reason I ask is that I am looking into a new razor that has a spring on the handle rather than the cartridge (actually there are no cartridges it takes single razor blades), but I am wary of the spring going bad and not being able to replace it.
Most non electric shavers come so cheap that worrying about how long its spring is going to last seems like unnecessary worry, if the spring does eventually wear out just toss it and buy a new one.
