A cool article with Computer Pioneer and Robotic expert David Levy saying that in 50 years humans can and will marry robots as they will be so advanced we won't be able to tell the difference between them and humans.

A lot of humans have trouble with the mere idea of a two humans of the same gender marrying each other. Whatever will they think of married robots?

1) They said we were going to have robotic servants what.. 50 years ago? I'd say they are late

2) I don't want to marry one, just have one as a sex slave haha.

I remember watching a movie long ago, where beautiful female robots could be ordered to one's liking. In that movie, a great percentage of the population only dated robots, and these were male or female. Then this guy somehow lost his robot, and had to rent an aircraft to rescue her. The pilot, however, was a beautiful redhead, and human too. By the end of the movie he had realized that no robot would be as human and as exciting as the pilot (she was a babe), so he ended up with her instead of the the robot.

I think ultra-realistic full sensory virtual reality is much more likely-stuff that taps into your brain. I think people would just be too creeped out to date a robot.
