I get tons of emails every day from govdelivery to my email even though I never subscribed. These letters have some sensitive information. So it is my duty to report it. I'm sure it is either a software bug or a human error. There is no way to unsubscribe since it is impossible to contact the govdelivery support service.

What should I do?

Here are the addresses that send me some unrequested information:
  • development-notifications@public.govdelivery.com
  • planning-design@public.govdelivery.com
  • Louisvilleky@public.govdelivery.com
  • governor@subscriptions.kentucky.gov
  • lmpd-division5@public.kentucky.gov
  • aging-disabled-citizens@public.kentucky.gov

Email has filters for automating tasks, how you activate them depends on what you are using. You could for example set it to delete all email from development-notifications@public.govdelivery.com, governor@subscriptions.kentucky.gov, etc. Using an asterisk like this is wildcard , *@public.govdelivery.com.

This won;t stop them from being sent but will prevent you from having to see them.

I'd send an email to their support, or call if you'd rather. Here is the link:
