Yeap i've hearing about this for several years on Coast to Coast with George Noorey about ''CERN'' as they are getting ready to fire this up. Many scientists are very worried that it will create a Black Hole and dissolve the planet.

at most the theory is it will create small black holes that will quickly dissapate.

There's only a very small chance of killing everyone.

Yikes! I just received an infraction notice concerning the Guardian article - we are not to post an entire article, just a headline, a sentence or two and the link.

I hadn't thought about it before but that makes good sense actually. People searching for search terms would find the whole article reproduced at City-Data.
