Let's hope so cuz we've taken the current paradigm about as far as it can go...Moore's "Law" isn't so much a law as it is a mere observation of how things have been growing so far. Malthus made the same mistake about population growth. Both these guys failed to see that growth phenomena always reach an inflection point where the growth rate starts to slow to zero as the carrying capacity limits further growth.
The problem in turning to physics on the quantum level is that quantum physics, by definition, is determined by probabilistic factors, ie- innately incontrollable....Yet another quantum paradox to overcome.
