Everyday I am seeing more and more articles about quatuam states. I tellling ya something big is about to happen in the next decade! I hope that that doesn't mean a bad thing for us humans.

Let's hope so cuz we've taken the current paradigm about as far as it can go...Moore's "Law" isn't so much a law as it is a mere observation of how things have been growing so far. Malthus made the same mistake about population growth. Both these guys failed to see that growth phenomena always reach an inflection point where the growth rate starts to slow to zero as the carrying capacity limits further growth.

The problem in turning to physics on the quantum level is that quantum physics, by definition, is determined by probabilistic factors, ie- innately incontrollable....Yet another quantum paradox to overcome.

Well, define big! If you mean major breakthroughs in gene sequencing, genetic research, climate modelling or immense computing capability than renders every silicon technology obsolete then yes, it's all good. If you mean the end to all forms of encryption, the end of online banking or any form of security, online or offline, then maybe not. And I am not joking. At all.

We need to get an economically viable fusion power source first. Let's play with this stuff later.

It also follows from the superposition principle that all equations for wave functions (for example, the Schrödinger equation) in quantum mechanics must be linear.
