For many years you have been able to Long hold press on a URL and get the copy option

yesterday at around 10 a.m. when I try to long press on my URL it erases the URL and gives me a Fresh Field

I have used numerous different browsers and tried different techniques and every once in a while it'll still let me copy the URL however about 95% of the time now it will erase the field on a long press as if I was just tapping it
..

I have deleted re-downloaded apps in an attempt to fix the problem to no avail

I didn't update my phone but of course we know how they like to do that automatically nowadays

Anybody else having the same problem?

Yeah several times

A friend may have figured it out

seems to be a new drop-down Sub menu instead of the old copy paste highlight system that worked perfectly fine

I don't mind if they changed things without your permission as long as they gave you an option to set it back the way it was which of course they don't

Reminds me of a story a computer tech guy told me about an intelligence officer that used really old technology because it was hack proof

All the new stuff was highly hackable and focused on

I was working a law enforcement position in South Florida where we were introduced to these new Russian computers that were about the size of a tablet but really thick

A thief could walk up to the newer luxury vehicles...type in their make and model in about 30 seconds the car would be unlocked engine started air conditioner on...

Speaking from someone in the industry.. nothing is hack proof.... especially when there are users involved or physical access to the device.
