Any asteroid falling from the sky would have a tremendous amount of energy. Due to release of huge impact energy, dispersing into heat as temperature would rise,nothing on earth would survive.Asteroid impact also will causes a earthquake, tsunami and trigger the volcano. Eventually, the earth will vanish.

It would depend on the size of the asteroid. Some of those shown in the YT clip were originally from another animation that showed the object to be vastly larger, the size of a small moon (see original video below). The asteroid that hit 65 million years ago was big, but not big enough to scorch the entire planet, dry up the oceans, or killing everything immediately. That asteroid was thought to be the size of a mountain. Think about Mt. Everest. It's huge, but compared to the overall scale of the entire Earth, it's pretty small, more like a small bump on the surface. What followed the impact was dust and debris sent high up in the atmosphere, blocking out sunlight and causing temperatures to drop. Dinos far away from the blast area likely survived, but not for long. Their food sources would have been gone, many plants died out, and few other beasts to breed with, all leading to extinction, except for small mammals and other creatures able to seek shelter underground, coming up to feast on dino carcasses. Granted, it would be a very bad day for life on Earth, but some life would likely survive, unless the object was the size of a minor or dwarf planet.
Gotta factor in the velocity and composition of the object. A comet on a hyperbolic orbit could have a lot of energy compared to, say a similar-mass near-Earth-object.

The opposite occurred, it caused an extended winter, reptiles perished when they were too big to burrow into mud. We will survive one way or other.
