The latest cellular technology, 5G, will employ millimeter waves for the first time in addition to microwaves that have been in use for older cellular technologies, 2G through 4G. Given limited reach, 5G will require cell antennas every 100 to 200 meters, exposing many people to millimeter-wave radiation. 5G also employs new technologies (e.g., active antennas capable of beam-forming; phased arrays; massive multiple inputs and outputs, known as massive MIMO) which pose unique challenges for measuring exposures.

Since 5G is a new technology, there is no research on health effects, so we are “flying blind” to quote a U.S. senator. However, we have considerable evidence about the harmful effects of 2G and 3G. Little is known the effects of exposure to 4G, a 10-year-old technology, because governments have been remiss in funding this research. Meanwhile, we are seeing increases in certain types of head and neck tumors in tumor registries, which may be at least partially attributable to the proliferation of cell phone radiation. These increases are consistent with results from case-control studies of tumor risk in heavy cell phone users.

Thank you. Its hard to find data when there is little. Take what I can get.
Appears this insurance company is considering the concerns. https://www.swissre.com/institute/re...the-leash.html

The key is hotspots. If you live too close to transmission towers the amount of radio transmissions that are being transmitted through your body can have long term effects. It doesn't matter it is 2G, 3G, or 5G. All radio transmissions especially high output areas can have long term affects to your health. It is like being slowly cooked by microwave.

You either know or you don't.

Numerous studies have shown that cell towers and cell phones, in close proximity to bees, can disrupt their normal behavior. This is one of the possible causes for colony collapse disorder in bee populations worldwide.

The problem with telecommunications technology is that so much of it has been released into the public domain without being tested at all for safety. And when studies are done to determine safety, they're usually very short term studies. Any long-term health effects....well I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

We're basically lab rats.

Much of the western world now lives within close proximity of transmission towers.
We've seen cancer rates skyrocket over the past few decades.

And I'm sure you have a cite handy for that.

Because NCI doesn't seem to know anything about it...

If iron in the body were susceptible to magnetic fields, then no one would be able to undergo an MRI scan. Iron in your blood works much differently than Metallic (crystalized) iron in the ground.

It works on the same EMF* field as crystal healing. "Science" just ignores that.

1. An exponential increase in cellular communications and the proliferation of cellular tower infrastructure has occured over the past few decades.

2. Certain types of cancers have increased over the past few decades as well, although death rates have generally declined in the western world.

3. Chronic diseases in general have steadily increased over the past few decades.

Of course it would be ignorant for me to suggest that EMF's and RF's from telecommunication infrastructure is solely repsonsible for ALL of this increase, but it's likely a contributing factor.

Melanoma in particular has dramatically increased over the past few decades. The first bodily organ that is affected by over-exposure to EMF's or RF's is the skin!

Cancer in radar technicians exposed to RF's and microwave radiation:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10926722

Melanoma was one of the cancer types mentioned in this group ^

EDIT UPDATE:

Here's an interesting study from Sweden that correlates the rise in FM broadcasting (RF radiation) to increases in melanoma in the Swedish population:

What in the world are you talking about? I'm not talking about "crystal healing". I don't know where you got that idea. If you're so critical about science, why are you posting here on the Science forum? Where's your evidence? I don't see where you've included a single link that supports such nonsense. Crystal Healing belongs in the Unexplained Mysteries and Paranormal forum.

Solid iron and blood iron in hemoglobin/myoglobin are arranged differently. The human body requires iron in the blood. They are not affected by an MRI scanner (magnetic resonance imaging). Some metallic things (metallic iron being one) are affected by the extremely strong electromagnets in the machine. That's why you're asked before getting in the scanner if you have any metallic objects with you or have any metallic pins in your body, including dentures. Today, pins and such usually have metals like titanium which are non-ferrous which is non-magnetic. If solid iron and blood iron worked the same, your blood would be ripped out of your body by the scanner. I would recommend that you should read the article (it's short) and do some research.
