I recall my sister having a dollar bill that was split front/back - but long ago, maybe 1970? Afterwards, I remember working corners into a split but getting no further without a piece tearing loose.

I suspect the split was done by someone in a deep, drug-induced stupor.

I guess you could always buy a blank-side pair from a collector's source and lie about it.

I saw them do this on the tv magic show "The Carbonaro Effect".

Sounds like someone's got WAY too much time on their hands.


You could also sand a dollar bill down from the front, another one from the back, glue them together with a weak adhesive, them claim you're splitting the paper.
