Is human similar to a very sophisticated robot, or could her/his mind be connected to some form of external life force?
When a part of the brain is damaged, she/he behaves like an animal. Would her/his awareness of the existence depend on the efficiency of the connection with the external life force?
What is it about animals that is an insult to humans? Just because a human sustains brain damage does not in the least mean that the human starts acting like an "animal". War is something most animals do not partake in, so, what is a human? Not a robot, that's for sure, and not really an animal in that on the most part, animals are not self aware. We are not ants, and we are not monkeys. Monkeys do not fly F-16s. Ants do not practice the rule of law and personal freedom, what ever that means these days.
Humans are absolutely animals. We're part of the same evolutionary tree as the rest of the animal kingdom, and we are more similar than we are different, from other higher animals.

What we're not, is robots.
We are very different then any animal on this planet by far. It may be some changes in our DNA compared to an ape, but that so called slight difference is a million miles apart. However, I will say I've met people who I had my doubts about, that's for sure.
