What would you think if Apple came out with a gaming console? Do you think you would buy one? I think it would be an interesting competition in the gaming world if this were to happen. With Apple's good name, a gaming console would make them more of a fortune than they already have made from their other products. This has been a fantasy of mine for a while, but I could happen.

It would be nice, but I don't think Apple would jump into such a competitive market with MS and Sony. But I could be wrong
What Makes Apple so popular with its customers is the OS. The hardware is very durable, with an excellent customer service. But the OS in every product is what keeps a hold of its customers. OSX is incredibly simple and elegant, plus stable. Apple strives on making the OS institutive, which makes it easier to learn. Not a single crash, it uses its built-in utilities to clean and organize itself during the night, and has a pretty good firewall built it.
I read an article not too long ago, but completely forgot the name of it; Apple did come out with a gaming console in the late 80s / early 90s. I was trying to google it to punctuate my post but couldn't find it. I think it was very expensive, ahead of its time, and completely not fun so, of course, it didn't sell.
It would be interesting to see if they come up with another console, but programming for the Mac is such a pain. I'm sure it would have to run using the Apple architecture and it would probably take forever to produce games. It would be like when the PS3 came out; only a handful of games for an amazing product. People lost interest and the XBox 360 wins.
