This thread is a place where curious people like me have any questions about today's technology can post here,so educated people like I don't know can help people like me out!

1.So,how can information that are uploaded from one side of the world, can be view on the internet from a computer on the other side of the world (to me,it seem like instantly!)? Are the servers relay information at the speed of light or faster?

2.How are we able to transmit information via phone, satellite,or on the internet at such fast speed?

3.How were we able to have electricitiy in our home,in other words how are we able to control electricitiy and direct it to where we want to be via outlets or electronic devices?

Well, let me start of by saying don't believe much in physical rules.. such as the speed of light..

1. But, yes I've been informed that because of the speed of light.. that's why it takes 100 ms to get over-seas etc. via fiber optics for example latency from L.A. to New York is a fixed number I think it's 60 ms.. and of course it can only vary but based on the speed of light it can only go so low..

2. Satellite is highly latent it over 500 ms into space and 500 ms down.. if you've ever seen DSL/Cable vs. Satellite you'd understand how crappy satellite is.. still for TV I think it seems to be the way they currently mainly communicate their live broadcasts..

3. How the electrical grid works is beyond me.. I have watched some documentaries.. but I suggest you check a wiki.. in fact check a wiki for all these questions if you really want easy answers..

Its all done via magic. Simple magic.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
