That's a tempting one too.

That fateful day roughly 65 million years ago - to see what the dinosaurs actually looked like then watch the asteroid streak out of the sky (from a distance) before bolting as it impacts.

2100 AD

2500 AD - If we are by then a highly advanced space faring species with Star Trek technology, it would be really hard to return back to the primitive, backward early 21st century earth.

Think about it. In a 24 hrs clock, species of dinosaurs had been existing for 23hrs 59mins 59secs 59nano secs... We, Homo Sapient has been existed for less than 1 nano secs.

Yet, we claims to control Earth and want to protect our Earth and Earth's environment.

In the future, some lifeforms digging fossils of Homo Sapient and its record will be laughing at us, how naive of Homo Sapient!

Just like we, Homo Sapient are laughing at dinosaurs's environment protectionists who want to protect dinosaurs's Earth and Earth environment.

All I know is knowing my luck, I would create some type of temporal paradox or slip my consciousness through all of time and space and travel through infinite parallel/multiple dimensions before the "Big Bang" and create the known and unknown universe itself..

Then Have a ice cold Beer and go to work on Monday like nothing happened

Lets say you own a time machine, but can only go to three different years.... what years would you choose and why (optional).

Mine are:

1959 (was not around this year)
1972 (or this one)
1985 (was 9 years old this year)
2030 (will be 54 on this year! )

and maybe back to 1990.....
How fun a time machine would be!

I would like to go back 541 million years to the Cambrian explosion event.

I would also like to go back to when the first modern humans evolved around 1.3 to 1.8 million years ago.

I would also like to soar a few hundred thousand years into the future to see earth after human species has become extinct.

I'd go back to the few days before the over the large combined jackpots of Powerball & Mega Millions.

Of course I would get the winning tickets for each. I'd wait to claim each ticket. Then slowly/quietly take care of my family obligations, insurance, bills, taxes, etc. Once all my accounts are on hold I will find a temporary house to move to.
From there I will establish a better life. Which includes donating to my favorite charities.
