Many think that the supernatural only involves subjects like ghosts, zombies, spirits, and fairies, but in truth it is much more than that.
Others think that the supernatural doesn't even exist, and that it is only a figment of our imagination, or something we haven't yet discovered(which is the definition of supernatural ).
Then there are those who study all things supernatural. If you look into it, you'll find that the supernatural is not only made up of subjects like ghosts and ghouls, but also subjects like extraordinary abilities like children being able to communicate with animals, or children being able to manipulate objects.
It speaks of odd happenings, and unrealistic events that boggle the mind.
So in your honest opinion, do you believe in the supernatural?

Supernatural only means something that has not yet been explained scientifically. If I went back and time and showed a lighter to a caveman, it would be supernatural.
In the context you're using though (supernatural as in ghosts, spirits, demons, telekinesis, psychics), no, I don't believe any of that.

There's nothing odd, unrealistic, extraordinary or supernatural about that. I'm no kid, but my cats and I communicate all the time. In fact, one cat will lead me to the door, and has learned to stretch up and actually touch the doorknob with his paw to show me that he wants to go outside or come inside. It's not anything he was taught to do. He just learned from watching that the doorknob is something that opens the door. A couple of the other cats have now learned the same trick by watching him. They'd probably open the doors themselves if they had hands. They also make different kinds of sounds for specific reasons.
There's also nothing strange about kids being able to manipulate objects. Kids do that all the time, especially with play things.

Depends on the definition. I've done odd things my entire life. Psychic or just overly observant? Can't say.
On a driving trip to Chicago one Christmas we were coming up on a semi, getting ready to pass. I took my foot off the accelerator, and said to my wife, "There's something wrong with that truck." No sooner were the words out of my mouth then there was a spray of steam coming from under the hood of the truck.
After stopping to help the trucker he looked at his rig and told us it was a good thing we weren't next to him because the fan had literally exploded and one of the blades would have come right through the passenger side window.
Sitting in the Luxor casino, playing Backjack the morning we were to leave for home. I had been playing and winning and really was on a streak. I was dealt an 11 with a $200 bet out, doubled and was dealt a 2. Dealer showed a 6. Guy to my left said, "Man are you screwed." I told him that no, I wasn't because my cards had nothing to do with it and that a dealer 6 has a good chance of busting. His response: "Yeah, right." "Okay" I told him, "I'll prove it. The dealer down card is a 9." It was. "and the draw card is an 8. Dealer will bust." It was, and the dealer did, with a count of 23.
I can't explain things like that. They just happen.
Made $800 that morning waiting for a plane.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Depends on the definition". It's either a supernatural ability or it isn't. You mentioned psychic or overly observant, but you left out random circumstances and chance.
When I was younger, some friends and I played a guessing game with a deck of cards. I was the guesser. Without seeing the card, I correctly guessed several times in a row. My friends were astonished. However, there was nothing supernatural about it. It was pure guessing on my part. It was chance that the guesses were right. There was a 1 in 52 chance to guess right which is much better than the odds at guessing the right numbers for a megalottery. But I could've just as easily guessed wrong.
Another time, I was visiting a girlfriend. After a while, I said, "Your daughter's calling you." As soon as I said that, she heard the phone ring, and sure enough, it was her daughter. She was absolutely astonished. Was it proof that I had some kind of supernatural telepathy? Nope. My girlfriend missed hearing the phone ring the first time, I didn't. She heard it on the second ring. How did I know it was her daughter? It was a guess, but most of the calls she received at that particular time were usually from her daughter. Under the circumstances, the odds were pretty good that my guess would be right.
Sometimes odds can be extremely remote and sometimes they can be much more favorable. But it's still based on chance circumstances, or as you said, simply being observant.
Sometimes something odd can happen that we can't readily explain. When that happens, it's easy to chalk it off as supernatural, something that exceeds or is beyond normal or natural ability. That doesn't mean it's supernatural, but rather that we simply don't understand what it is. It's a brain thing. We only understand it once the real reason is revealed. Then the mystery vanishes, unless an individual refuses to accept it and prefers to cling to the paranormal explanation.
Skilled illusionists use that sort of thing to their advantage all the time. The audience know what they're seeing is a trick, but they don't know how it's done. They're left mystified with that naggin feeling wondering if maybe it really did happen the way they saw it.
However, on the off chance you have some kind of psychic abilities, would you mind sending me the correct numbers for the Powerball lottery? Just in case......

Depends on how someone defines what I do. I like to freak people out by doing it. It is not something I can control, it just happens, and when it does, it's fun.
This reminds me that if you enter a room of 28 or more people odds are there will be two with the same birthday.

Well, if you want weird odds....
My uncle (now deceased) was born on October 5.
His son was also born on October 5.
So was his grandson.
And so was my son.
Although this is a little different, I was born on April 9. My brother was born on April 10, exactly one year and one day later. Admittedly, different days, but still amazingly close.
