I found that first one hysterical. Of course it isn't really a hologram, just a trick that has been around since the 1800s, coupled with another brain teaser - 3D from binocular vision maxes out for most people somewhere around 50 feet. From that point out, head movement and other cues determine the "3Dness" of a scene. What got me to laughing out loud though was that Kate Moss looked like she had been "rolled" with toilet paper and stuck over some fans. Add some classical music and even Charmin looks good.

The CNN hologram was one of the silliest gimmicks of the election.
