LOL......I agree with you......the balanced design and sleekness certainly improve the visual aesthetics relative to the Nimitz Class Carriers.

Thanx......LOL....I think on one of the lower decks.

The Bing link that I posted.......has scores of illustrations and drawings of the new class of carriers.

While i was being somewhat facitious however we always heard rumors that they did have e.g. three lane bowling as well as full sized weight rooms on the carriers although i seriously doubt that scuttlebutt .

When these are completed i'm going to do everything in my power to visit one and see if i can tour the bridge as i'm curious if they'll have a helmsman and lee helmsman or if that's all computer controlled now?

I'm pretty sure they really do have bowling alleys........seriously.......after all they are a floating city with about 3.5 acres of soverign and mobile U.S. territory.

Thought it was time to update this thread.

The Chinese have developed the World's first Anti-Ship BALLISTIC Missile dubbed "The Carrier Killer" by United States Defense Analysts.

It is carried by mobile coastal launchers, reaches the edge of space and strikes it's target vertically.

Capable of traveling 3,000 plus miles per hour and carries a 1,300 pound explosive warhead.

It is designated the DF-21D.
