As you drive into Seattle? Or fly into Seattle? Whether you are visiting for the first time or driving into the city for the millionth time, is there a song/artist/band you like to listen to? I have visited a few times and I would have to choose:

Out Of Focus by Love Battery

Aurora Bridge by Young Fresh Fellows

Into Your Shtik by Mudhoney

Waste Of Time by The Fastbacks

Any Other Way by The Posies

I like to listen to "My Posse's on Broadway" by Sir Mix-Alot. That's probably my favorite Seattle song.

"Alcohol" by Gang Green:

YouTube - Gang Green - "Alcohol" Taang! Records I would habitually crank this out of my S2000 when I was taking the 5 though downtown for some reason, especially when you go under the convention center...

"Last Cup Of Sorrow" by Faith No More

YouTube - Faith No More - Last Cup Of Sorrow [Official video] Pretty much summed up my feelings about the city after I moved back and realized the Seattle I knew is gone, and additionally, I'd become a Californian by way of Boston:

Raise the cup and let's propose a toast
To the thing that hurts you most
It's your last cup of sorrow
What can you say?
Finish it today
It's your last cup of sorrow
So think of me
And get on your way
It won't begin until you make it end
Until you know the how the where and the when
With a new face you might surprise yourself

"No Fun" by the Stooges

YouTube - The Stooges - No Fun This was what would often pop into my head as I walked to work on Pill Hill from 3rd.

"WOULD?" by Alice in Chains. Hearing the album dirt for the first time in a dormatory at UW caused me to fall in love with that group and the city. Nothing more Seattle than Alice In Chains.
