I was let go at my last job as a project coordinator in the equipment engineering department and so far have found it extremely hard getting another office position. I started thinking it might be time to do a career change from the office clerical/ support side to a high demand technical or computer position so I started doing research online and have an appointment with a career consultant as well next week. However, I like to get what you (especially those in the field) see as the most high demand computer/ technical jobs in Seattle are. I know most higher paying positions are requiring a 4 year degree however are there any high demand positions that may require a 2-year associates to get a foot in the door and get further training as you go on? I am open since although I don't have any technical or software experience I love installing as well as troubleshooting issues as well but PREFER not to just work in a call center if possible.
Thanks
