Out of 25 major metropolitan areas, Seattle ranked 23. Not bad!

I would've guessed a much higher rating from what I witnessed from my observations while living in the area.

Thanks.

I really do not think this is accurate. I have no clue how Seattle ended up on the bottom of the list?

The 2 worst spots I ever drove in "traffic" wise was NYC and "LA". I havent been to Seattle yet but it CANT be any worse then the ones I mentioned. And believe me, Jerseys no bargain either!

I drove around LA and during rush hour several times. The drivers were somewhat nicer than the encounters in the Seattle Tacoma area. Phoenix was worst on the list? I have never experienced road rage in the Phoenix area. Tacoma and Seattle - always have a tailgater even when I go over the speed limit. Never once had a tailgater in the Phoenix area? I don't believe the stats.

I notice a huge difference between highway and city drivers around Seattle, the highways are packed with aggressive commuters wanting to get to or from the suburbs whereas the neighborhood streets in Seattle it's always: go ahead, no you go, no you, no you go, no you.

Traffic here moves a lot slower than most east coast cities. Typically the "flow" rarely goes above 70. On the east coast, if you aren't doing 70, you're getting in the way. I rarely hit 70 here unless I'm on I5 south.

No one around here knows how to use a horn. It is a sign of "aggression".

When I first learned to drive, hardly anybody in Seattle used a horn it seemed. Even to this day, I don't use a horn. I can't remember the last time I did.

Seattle still doesn't compare with Chicago or any east coast cities when it comes to horn honking.

Thanks.
