Ya know, I never really paid too much attention to it but isn't that Seattle in the C-D.com background logo picture at the top of their webpage?

I see what I think are familiar landmarks: WM tower?, Columbia Tower?, Qwest Field?, etc. but no Smith Tower or Space Needle.

Is that Mt. Rainier in the background? If so, what angle is that shot taken from? For the life of me, I can't arrange the angle of that scene. There's no such angle that that could be taken from in reality as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps it's Mt. Baker? Or maybe it's not even suppose to be Seattle.

Maybe it's been photoshopped - because if it's Seattle, Mt Rainier would be behind the photographer in that shot.

Interesting. That's a good question. It looks to me like a shot from capitol hill looking down on Seattle maybe, but it seems like a lot of buildings are missing which makes me wonder if it is seattle at all, or a very old photo. The Washington Mutual tower - which is actually quite tall and distinctive -should be somewhere in the middle of the photo. The presence of Safeco Field suggests that it is somewhat recent pic, but something is wrong.

What smaller city has a stadium just south of the city like Seattle, and has a similar skyline?

From this picture (http://www.flickr.com/photos/henry_roxas/405248834/ - broken link), it appears that it could be a reversed image of Seattle.

That's it!!!

Thanks, Aquajox. That's why I couldn't figure it out, the image is reversed! Now it makes sense! It's taken from the Space Needle.

Excellent.
